Ranjeesh Gopinathan

Ranjeesh Gopinathan is a member of the Board of our Portfolio companies at 215 Capital, where he leverages his extensive pharmaceutical industry experience to guide and manage our portfolio companies.

Mr. Gopinathan has over 25 years of industry experience in the pharmaceutical sector and has led investments and operations in various aspects of the industry, from startups to commercial-stage companies. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of WES Pharma Inc., a dynamic specialty pharmaceutical company based in Westminster, Maryland. Under his leadership for the past 10 years, WES Pharma has grown to nearly 100 employees and focuses on developing and manufacturing complex, technology-driven specialty generics for the U.S. market, with a particular emphasis on difficult-to-develop formulations.

Before joining 215 Capital and leading WES Pharma, Mr. Gopinathan held several leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry, where he honed his expertise in pharmaceutical management, marketing, development, research, and manufacturing. His experience spans from product development to regulatory affairs and strategic management, making him an ideal mentor and operator for emerging companies in the pharmaceutical sector.
